Promoting Engaging, Authentic, and Meaningful Science Education
Mike Logan is a high school/dual credit biology teacher for the Central R-III school district in Park Hills. He is currently completing my 10th year teaching biology (5 years for Central R-III, 5 years for Kingston K-14). He has a BS and MS in Biology, as well as an MA in Secondary Administration from SEMO. He has been an active member of STOM throughout his teaching career and was certified through their first MODELS cohort on proper implementation of the new 3-Dimensional Science Learning Standards. Currently, Mike is serving as a member of the Nominations Committee. He has attended and presented best science practices demonstrations at STOM, Interface and NSTA conferences throughout his career. He is a great resource for other science teachers in rural districts so they may get the support they need to properly implement quality science in their classrooms.
